A course for the study of special topics and experimental course offerings at the undergraduate level in business programs.
Prerequistes: Junior standing; Requires permission to enroll from the Business Advising Office (620-341-5523).
ZA - LEADERSHIP
LEADERSHIP
This class will examine both theory and practice of effective leadership. Attention is given to the important distinction between leadership and management. Traits, characteristics and methods of effective leadership will be identified. Students will evaluate their leadership strengths and weaknesses and be provided an opportunity to enhance their leadership capacity. The class will use lecture, class discussion, student presentations and group activities. Students will be evaluated on class participation, class assignments, a written test, and the final examination which is a class project that can be done individually or in teams.
