About Telenet2

TELENET2 is a Kansas statewide educational videoconference network.
TELENET2 links up to 20 sites simultaneously making it possible for
people to electronically attend university courses, seminars, training,
workshops, meetings, etc. There are 29 established TELENET2 sites
in Kansas and other locations throughout the nation and the world
are possible.
The educational network is used for a variety of programming. Emporia State, Fort Hays State, and Kansas State Universities regularly offer upper division and graduate courses on TELENET2 for educators, nurses, librarians, counselors, dietitians, and others. The University of Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center (KLETC) provides statewide in-service training. Other organizations have offered health training, legislative updates, job training, and administrative meetings via TELENET2.
TELENET2 reduces travel time and costs by bringing credit courses and
other programing to convenient locations and offers friendly service,
good instructors, and helpful local assistants. Students in classrooms
across Kansas attend class together, linked by TELENET2 video conferenceasd
