Know Your Student ID Number

Don't know your Student ID?
To look-up your Student ID, [click here]. You will need your username and password (or SSN).  If you do not know your password or did not provide a SSN at time of application, contact the Help Desk at 1-877-332-4249 to obtain your ID.

Access Your Required ESU Email Account

Emporia State University students enrolled in Lifelong Learning distance courses are REQUIRED to maintain an email account through Emporia State University. Accounts with 10MB storage capacity are automatically created a day or two after a student enrolls. Once this 10MB of storage space is exceeded, students will not be able to send email; however, email will continue to be received. Mail is automatically deleted from your Inbox after 180 days.

Pay Your Tuition & Fees

Emporia State University is pleased to offer a streamlined payment process to
students, faculty and staff. This improved payment system features a substantial
decrease in waiting lines, more consistency in special fees charged and fewer events
which trigger special fees.

It is Emporia State University policy that students must pay all charges in full prior to the drop date. If a student does not expect to have their balance paid in full by this date, they must enter into an Extended Payment Agreement.

It is important students review the billing statements they receive as well as check their
student Buzz In account frequently. These resources provide valuable and continuously
updated information concerning student account balances.

Please note: Financial aid must be authorized AND disbursed to be considered a payment on an account. If a payment has been made on a student’s account, the student must officially withdraw from the University within the refund period to be eligible for a refund and/or be relieved of their financial obligation to Emporia State University.

WHAT ARE THE STUDENT’S RESPONSIBILITIES?
• Sign and submit the Direct Deposit and Title IV Authorization forms
• Check financial aid status
• Ensure “payment status” by the Friday before classes begin

WHAT IS “PAYMENT STATUS”?
Acceptable payment status means…
1. Pay the entire account balance by the Friday before classes begin
-or-
2. Make a $150 account down payment by the Friday before classes begin

This is required to reserve the student’s class schedule and will be credited to the student’s charges. Sign and submit the Extended Payment Agreement to avoid account holds. Administrative fees are assessed for this option.

NOTE: Prior semester charges must be paid-in-full before any student will be eligible to retain their class schedule.

WHAT IS AN ADMINISTRATIVE FEE?
An administrative fee allows the extension of payment on a student’s account. If a student can not pay the account balance in full by the first day of class, a $50
non-refundable administrative fee is applied for an automatic payment extension until September 12. If account balances are not paid in full on or before
September 12, an additional $50 non-refundable administrative fee is applied for an automatic payment extension until October 8. (Subject to the approval of the Board of Regents)

WHAT ARE THE IMPORTANT DATES?
Friday, August 15th - Friday before classes begin
• All students must be paid in full or make the $150 down payment
